BODY WORLDS at Menschen Museum

Discount: 20 % on normal admission fee for adults

The BODY WORLDS museum presents more than 200 unique plastinates that show the function of individual organs as well as common diseases. It gives insights into the highly complex structures of the human body and shows what connects us, keeps us upright and in motion, and what makes us laugh and love.

Even after 20 years of exhibition history and with more than 50 million visitors around the world, the fascination with the mysteries of the human body and the quest for a long, healthy life continue to exude the same magnetism as always. Furthermore, fascinating specimens of animal anatomy became part of the BODY WORLDS at Menschen Museum. The animal anatomy literally inside out, by revealing the previously hidden interioer – without skin, fur or hair. Special highlight of this collection include the plastinated Lion »Icke«, originally born at the Berlin Zoo, impresses with extraordinary muscles. Weighing 200 kg, the animal has strong hind limbs that can propel incredible leaps of nearly 12 metres.

You will find it at the base of the TV-tower. S-Bahn 5, 7, 75, 9 and U-Bahn 2, 5, 8 will get you here, as well as buses TXL, 100, 200.
